Rolling back database to prior Quicken version

Hello, I'm a current user of Quicken H&B 2017. I do not download bank transactions or investment brokerage transactions. I'm wondering if anyone knows if my 2017 qdf file will open using Quicken 2013 (either Deluxe, H&B, or Rental Property Mgr.). And if not, is there a way to convert or roll back a 2017 qdf file so it is useable with Q13?

I found this post by splasher so far. It's about rolling back from 2014 so I don't know if it will work for 2017.

"…….do a QIF file export from QW2014 and a QIF file import into QW2013. QW2013 is prior to the registration servers required by 2014-2017 which no longer exist. QW2013 can not directly read/convert your 2014 data file, but the QIF export/import should work….."

I've done the conversion from subscription to QW2013 in the past. I did not mess with the investment accounts as they were all messed up after the import to QW2013. If took me several days of cleanup getting the banking and credit card accounts correct again, but it is possible.

Just be prepared to spend some time doing it and not something that happens on autopilot.
