PLEASE add the ability to customize - or at least turn off - the report headers & footers. Also, the report font size should be customizable.

I whole heartily agree. If there is one major downfall to Quicken it's the reporting function.

    Upgrade your reporting formatting functions.

Add report formatting Options for Reports printing.

We need for Page Setup to be active in order to change margins, and modify font size.

The reports fonts are so small when printed as we are unable to adjust the size of the fonts or modify margins.

In addition, please add "red colors" in the reports to show negative amounts in a PL or Balance Sheet.

This is 2025 and we have been asking for this upgrade for more that 5 years.

The Old Quicken 2007 for MAC used to have the "Page Set-up" features active to format financial reports.

    Thank you for your consideration.

There are currently ONLY font controls for visualizing a report on-screen. Sorry, but that seems useless to me — would MUCH prefer some controls for those things when PRINTING.

I’ve been a proponent of printing options for years. I loved the options available on Quicken 7 and would like to see them available on the newer versions

Everyone desiring more control and options over the formatting of reports in Quicken Mac should be sure they have added their vote for this Idea. (Click on the "1" button below to jump to the first page of the thread, and in the yellow box for the vote counter, if you see a dark gray/black up arrow, you have not voted and should do so; if you see a light gray arrow, you have already voted for this.) Although this issue has already been submitted to the developers for evaluation and consideration, a higher the vote count can influence the order of features the developers put on their development schedule.

I agree with MargBuch_2023 and all of the above. In MargBuch_2023 words:

—Want to ditto this request for formatting options in printing reports on the Mac. It seems support for Quicken on the Mac continues to lag behind what is offer for Windows. I want my report to fit on as few pages as possible. There are huge spaces between columns and the type is tiny. Not acceptable.

With the recent Quicken update, my category reports went from 32 pages to 66 pages with the font doubled in size.

    Like graepers mentioned:

—I guess my ultimate point is that the developers should spend more time in helping us customize reports, so we wouldn’t need to go through the steps you are showing and the work arounds you are attempting. While there is a way to do almost anything through cumbersome processes, the developers would better serve the consumer by making those work arounds easier for the end user.

I am still advocating for better report customization.

Quicken——Please—Please—-Please—allow customization to font size for reports in Quicken for Mac. If only the report would print the same size as the on-screen view. The consumer deserves a product that works for them in the best process possible, not a lengthly work around to achieve a usable report.

It would be much appreciated if my vote for a better reporting process.

I keep getting updates but there has been no enhancements to the customization to the font size on reports. At least reduce the huge font so the report can print same as the view on the screen. I have been with Quicken since the 90's. For the first time since then, I have been seriously looking to see what other program I can replace Quicken with. I am so frustrated with the inability to print a decent report. Which recently changed with the December reports that I printed for our accountant. I would like to see this by the next time of quarterly reports and I need to supply reports for my accountant. What is the status of that possibility?

@Lizah This long Idea topic is marked as "Under Consideration" (in the yellow box near the top of the first page of the thread). That means many users have voted for it, but the developers have not yet committed to making the requested changes. Unfortunately, no one from Quicken posts additional status updates about feature requests. So we don't know if or when they may address report formatting changes.

Meanwhile, just to make sure you haven't overlooked a small little feature: when you have a report open and pressed the Print button, in the Print dialog box, have you checked the "Scale to fit 1 page wide" checkbox? (Also, if you have a lot of columns, make sure Orientation is set to Landscape, not Portrait.) This may make the ext too small for you, but in many cases, this helps generate a reasonable report.
