One Step Update Settings

Why can you not make it a true one step update without having to go through multiple steps?
If give you the option to save/apply setting, but always defaults to doing multiple steps.
This was not an issue many years ago, but apparently has been ingored previosly.

Evidentially back then, the original poster didn't see fit to submit it as an idea. Without people voting for it, most likely it will never be implemented.
