Quickfill questions
I have Apple Cash so that it pulls money from my checking account. When I download transactions from the checking account, I get transactions for Apple. If I double click on the entry and then click on the "edit", where it says "Appears on your statement as" says "Withdrawal Visa Check Card APPLE". I want to target those specific transactions to quickfill as a transfer to an account I have called "Apple Cash". But, it appears as if the only key that quickfill uses is the PAYEE field and I have other transactions going to Apple that I don't want treated this way. It might work if transactions going to Apple just from this particular account would work… I haven't thought about that but my general question is, how smart or how customizable is the quickfill patterns?

Is the Statement Payee of the "other" transactions the same as the one you're wanting to QuickFill ("Withdrawal Visa Check Card APPLE"). If different, then you'll want to set up a Renaming Rule that changes Statement Payee from "Withdrawal Visa Check Card APPLE" to something unique. Then set up a QuickeFill for that unique Payee name.
If all the Apple transactions are coming in with the same Statement Payee, then I'm afraid I don't know a way to automate separating them out.

Are "Renaming Rule" just for Quicken on Windows? I'm on a Mac.

No, renaming rules work on QMac. You will find them here: menu Window > Payees & Rules > Renaming Rules. (You will also find QuickFill rules in the same window.)
