Do you think Quicken can come into the 21st century and make some REAL improvements that mean something such as allowing the cut and paste options available in all aspects of the program

Rather than a vague whine, it would be more constructive to list the places you think Cut & Paste are missing and should be added.
Quicken user since version 2 for DOS, as of 2025 using QWin Premier (US) on Win10 Pro & Win11 Pro on 2 PCs.

May I ask what you're trying to do with Cut and Paste?
- Copy an entire transaction to create a new one?
- Copy a string of text from an outside application into a field in a new register transaction? Like copying an invoice number into a new transaction's Memo field?
- Something else?
If you're having problems making item #2 work: Ensure that option Keyboard mappings in Edit / Preferences / Setup is set to "Windows Standard".
