After the latest update, the "tag" box is no longer available when entering a split transaction.

How can I enter a tag for part of a split transaction ?

    The tag field needs to be visible in the register in order to be visible in the split window, you can't have one without the other. You can still enable or disable the tag field on a register by register basis.

    @donray07 If you want to enter Tags on splits, but not on other non-split transactions, I suggest you make the Tag column visible in the register(s) where you use splits; make the column as narrow as it will go, and then drag the column heading to the far right of your register, so it will have no impact on viewing your register or tabbing through transactions.
