Vanguard Direct Connect
As a result of the absence of the Download for Vanguard accounts (trying to connect to Vanguard accounts via Direct Connect and are getting an OL-293/OL-295-A error), one of my accounts (My wife and I have 5 separate accounts) had been changed to Express Web Connect. I no longer get the above mentioned error(s), the account that was changed to EWC now shows a Simple Tracking Method and cannot be changed. I deactivated the account and re-activated it so it now shows that I am using Direct Connect but the Tracking Method is still set to Simple and unchangeable. Clicking the question for "Why can't I change the Tracking Method?" responds with "Vanguard uses Express Web Connect ("EWC") to connect to Quicken, which means that only the Simple Investing tracking method is available."
If I deactivate the account which allows me to change the Tracking Method to "Complete - Positions and Transactions", when I then re-activate the account, the Tracking Method is changed to Simple and, again, I cannot modify it.
