Can't Update 2 Schwab Accounts

I have two Schwab accounts. One has my retirement and the other my wife's retirement. There are also two joint accounts. Both logins can see their own retirement and the 2 join accounts.

A couple days ago I messed up a different quicken account and ended up restoring. The restore was for a backup done earlier in the day so i expected everything to be fine.

Most accounts were fine but 4 or 5 quicken accounts had broken downloads. Those were fixed without any issue except for two schwab logins.

Everytime I reset one Schwab logon, it creates an error and disables the other. The message I get is that quicken can't find the other Schwab accounts. If I reset mine for example my wife's gets disconnected. And the opposite. Reset hers and mine breaks. If I disable online for mine, I can setup hers and everything works fine.

On her account I select everything to link to quicken. On my account I only select the retirement stuff that is unique to that account.

How can I get both back to downloading?

    I too have several Schwab accounts and a similar situation as yours.

    One approach that seems to have worked for me is to disconnect ALL Schwab Accounts in Quicken from downloading. Then go back and select one of the Schwab Accounts that has your (or your wife's) password and do go through the process on connecting that Account. You should be able LINK the accounts at Schwab that you can see at their site using the selected User Name and Password to the appropriate Quicken Accounts.

    Then select one of the one Schwab Account using the other password for downloading and at Schwab's site during the authorization process select ONLY the remaining retirement account that hasn't yet been selected. When you're back in Quicken LINK only the one remaining Account. The other Accounts Quicken finds using that User Name and Password can be left as "Don't add to Quicken."
