One Step Update and .qxf Issues
One Step Update still isn't working after nearly a month.
I went to my credit card website and downloaded a .qxf file to try reconciling transactions that way. Rather than adding the transactions to my current Wells Fargo account, Quicken created a new account named "Credit Card at Wells Fargo", and put the transactions there.
Can we get this issue fixed. Or at least acknowledgement that you are aware of the problem?

I'm sure it was a typo, but .QXF (x in the middle) files are used to transfer the data file from Win to Mac and vice versa.
Web Connect files, .QFX (f in the middle), are downloaded from the financial institution's website for import into Quicken.
Sounds like you had another download method setup for the existing account and when Quicken tried to import the file, it did not find a match and created the new account. It has been a long time since I changed import methods, but didn't Quicken ask what it should do as in link to existing or create new?
See this FAQ on how to move the transactions from the newly created account to the prior existing account:

Typo indeed. Should have been .ofx (I blame my old man eyes).
Correct in the statement I had another download method. All accounts have been Express Web Connect, but for the last month One Step Update hasn't been working (there are a number of threads already inquiring into why). So I attempted the download directly from the credit card company.
I haven't done it that way in many many years, so I don't remember if should have asked to link to an existing account.
Point being, I'd really like Quicken to figure out what the problem is with One Step Update

That is the reason I only do OSU for accounts that are setup for Direct Connect. Everything else is Web Connect ( .QFX) downloads which means that I do a little more work, BUT, I don't spend a bunch of time dealing with download errors and reauthorizing accounts for EWC/EWC+.
