Specifically trying to add GRT.un. While I designate it as a TSX stock, the program does not show any actual market.

Therefore unable to load quotes,

Weird?!

Any suggestions

Running R.22 on Windows 10

When I tried getting the answer from Quicken staff in Guatemala, 2 individuals, while looking at my screen they had me do some other stuff re-signing in and then at the end the fellow asked for my Bank??

I immediately asked what the Bank has to do with my problem of adding a stock.

Watching all, but anyone have any idea why they would ask that.

I am supposed to receive a call tomorrow from a supervisor??!!

  • When you say that "the program does not show any actual market", what exactly do you mean?

Also, I think in the security set up, the Exchange should be "Mutual Fund" not "Toronto"?

@CaliQkn raises an interesting question. What, exactly, is GRT.UN? What's the full company name?

I couldn't find it thru Fidelity Investments

GRT.UN is Granite Real Estate Investment Trust.

I finally got this working by entering it as GRT.UN

Now I did get the suggestion of entering a Buy, which i did for 1 share and then resell 1 share nxt day.

Whether this cemented the success,? but then I am pretty sure that I tried that before.

Left it with them to have their programmers check. Onward and Upward. maybe telling me not to act. Buy

Are you saying that capitalizing the UN made the difference? Very strange.

Because in Q US it doesn't make any difference (I just tried) if I type bac or BAC (Bank of America Corp). But then, they don't have a suffix, as does your example.

It is a stock, not a mutual fund:
