Cannot delete a partial investment entry

If a mistake is made entering an investment transaction, I cannot be delete it without completing (which can create file issues). A dialog box appears that cannot be circumvented. The only method I have found to get around this is to go to Windows Task Manager and "End Task" and open Quicken again. Am I the only one with this problem or has someone found a way of deleting the unfinished transaction?

  • @donaldavis I find that if I need to exit a partially entered investment transaction, hitting "Esc" a few times will exit the transaction.

Esc should do it, but out of curiosity, are there specific transaction types where you see this dialog, and what does the dialog box say? The only one I can recall seeing is "Enter a valid date"
