Edward Jones Investment Holdings are Incorrect

I had to deal with User/Password issues starting last week (the credentials were correct by the way!) and needing to use only Simple Finance (which I was already doing!) I deleted and recreated all my account with Edward Jones. They are updating now BUT the holdings being shown are incorrect. I am not seeing Insured Bank Deposits or Corporate and US Bond Holdings reflected. If I add them manually with "Update Share Balance" I can get the valuations correct BUT they are blown away on the next One-Step update. Is anyone else experiencing this? Has anyone that was seeing it found a solution? Quicken Support has been silent on my Reported Issue.

You never will get a response for problems that you send to Quicken using Report a Problem. That's a channel Quicken uses to try and determine if there's a wide-spread problem being reported by lots of users, in which case they'll look into it.

I don't know what's causing your current issue and don't really understand what you're telling us. This may be a situation where you pick up the phone and talk with Official Quicken Support

Thanks for clarifying that this channel is one way, hadn't appreciated that. Not sure what you don't understand. The share balances / positions for certain holdings are not being shown in the accounts. Specifically, holdings for Corporate and US Bonds as well as insured bank deposits. Other information is what I tried to do to fix the problem to avoid having responses with the obvious stuff. When I have time to burn I'll try the phone lines.

Operating an investment account using Simple Tracking (rather than Complete Tracking) will always use the 'latest' information. That means the brokerage download will always blow away your manual adjustments. Your task is to determine why Edward Jones is not reporting those missing holdings. Bank insured deposits are not really a security and that might be a key factor for those. Corporate and US Treasuries should get reported as securities. When (?) you uses Complete tracking, were those securities handled correctly?

It is not that "this channel" - this community forum - is a one-way communication. The "Report a Problem" process through the Quicken program is a one-way path. This community is other users providing assistance as best we know with moderation by Quicken employees.

    A Google search of

    "Edward Jones" site:community.quicken.com

may lead you to some other possibly relevant discussions.
