Hi community.

I'm planning on opening an account, but don't want to waste my time if it doesn't support downloading via DC or other automated downloads.

Can anyone confirm that I can download transactions from a checking account at Rockland Federal Credit Union (RFCU)?

    @cmarshall1008 it looks like Quicken can connect with Rockland Federal Credit Union -

    If this is the financial institution that you are referring to, it supports WC and EWC connection methods.

    It shows that it does not support DC so this one would not be an option for you.

    But it does show support for EWC or EWC+ downloading by Quicken. Via another step I was able to confirm that they support EWC, not EWC+.

    It also supports WC which is a manual downloading and importing process initiated from within your online account.

    If you are interested in paying bills with your bank, you can try using Quicken Bill Manager Quick Pay and/or Check Pay 3rd party add-on service. You can read more about QBM at https://www.quicken.com/products/bill-manager/ .

    If you are interested in using QBM, I would recommend subscribing to Quicken Classic Premier or Business & Personal since these editions include a limited number of no-cost payments. Starter and Deluxe do not include this but the service can be added for an additional fee.

    BTW, you can order a Quicken Classic subscription and if, within 30 days you find it is not meeting your wants or needs, you can request a no-questions-asked full refund. So there really is no risk if you were to buy it and try it out for a month.
