Investment account shows correct # of shares, but when selling it indicates a much lower number.

In my investment account one EFT indicates the correct number of shares that I have inputted. The values total correctly to the bottom. I want to sell some of these shares. When I go to sell, it indicates I dont have enough shares. So I said sell all. The number that comes up as shares available is far less than what I have in and what shows in my overall investments. I have no way to correct this except maybe sell all the shares and rebuy along with "shares added".

Any other suggestions.

Are all the shares in a single account?

The shares I want to move are all in the same account. But I do have another account that has shares in the same fund.

In the Portfolio view, if you "Group by" Accounts, are the share quantities correct for that security in all of the accounts that hold it?
