Quicken balance not correct

I recently upgraded to a new PC, transferred my Quicken license and installed a backup copy, thought everything was running smoothly until I began reconciling bank statement. My checking account balance on Quicken is way off from the actual bank balance, and there appear to be no transactions missing. When I try to reconcile, it shows a beginning balance that does not match the last reconciliation, and when I try to change that figure, it still adds in the difference as a discrepancy so my quicken balance remains wrong. How do I fix this? I also noticed that Quicken changed a property value on its own, which affected my net worth bottom line. I have manually changed that but am not sure what else it might have affected.

If the beginning balance of the reconcile is changing from what they were, it is because the Reconciled transactions have changed.

The opening balance of the reconcile is the sum total of all of the R transactions in the register and is calculated at the time of reconciliation and not stored for future reference.

What could change that # is one of the following:

    1. a blank or C was changed to a R
    2. an R was changed to a blank or C
    3. the amount of an R was changed
    4. a new transaction was marked R to begin with
    5. a R transaction was deleted

Also check that the Opening Balance of the account has not been changed which would be #3 above.
