I just migrated to a new windows 10 laptop and when I click to open Quicken 2016 starter edition the "Quicken Window" pops up with no data entry screen. I have previously migrated like this two other time with no problems like this at all. I have been a quicken user since the days of win XP and have never had this much frustration with Quicken Migration to a new computer. Any suggestion for a solution.

I suspect, but don't know for certain, that the issue is that your Q2016 can no longer reach the Intuit servers to "validate" itself.

That's because Intuit no longer owns Q AND those servers were discontinued YEARS ago.

Your best bet is probably to upgrade to Q2013, which is available for free on Q's website.

Use the Search Box, at the top of this forum for more info on where to find it.

Q2013 is the last version that didn't require a Q/Intuit ID to function.
