Need a way to rebuild user file when it gets corrupted, similar to Windows version.

I do not remember if "rebuild" is the correct terminology. However I remember there was a way to perform a "rebuild" action, if errors crept into the transaction history which affected the current balance.

Frankly, I think Quicken Mac already has a better solution than Quicken Windows.

First off Quicken Mac's database is more robust than Quicken Windows, but even more important, even though Quicken Windows has a validate and repair function and people tend to think of it as magic, it definitely has it limits of what can be fixed.

That when the fact that Quicken Mac can export a QXF file an import it into a new data file, with the most important parts of the data file in tack, this is a much robust way to get around a truly corrupted data file.

Quicken Windows also has both a QXF export/import, but other than for simple data files the import doesn't seem that good. There is also exporting/importing a QIF, but this also has lots of problems getting a usable data file out the other end.
