When opening a register, take me to my most recent entry. Am I missing a switch?

In my most recent version for quicken desktop, I have been noticing that my registers have been taking me to dates well in the future; ex 2027. Can it be corrected to take me to my most recent entry when opening register?

Have you looked at the keyboard shortcuts in Quicken Help?

Sounds like you have a lot of future transactions in your register for some reason. Ctrl+N takes you to the blank line for adding a new transaction, but that is either at the bottom or the top (depending on sort order) and not at the break between past and future transactions (the blue separator line).

CTRL G should give you a go to date pop up and T will enter today’s date.

Another alternative is to use register date filters to limit the dates shown in your register.

I have many issues since the last quicken update. One issue that I just discovered that is related to this is that I went to my bill and income reminder that does have a good bit of future reminders in it but that's the way it's alway been. Now, all of the next payment dates were changed to dates in the future. Some as far as 2028. I did trying to figure out why?

Another issue: When I downloaded a transaction, I wanted to manually match transactions and it took me back to the year 1900.
