Securities transactions revert to erroneous ticker every time new transactions are downloaded

I use Quicken Classic Premier in Windows 11 (two weeks ago updated from Windows 10).

Every time I download transactions from Pershing (Bank of New York), eight historical Eversource transactions (a buy, a sale, and six dividends) change into Evergy transactions. I go in and edit the transactions to correct them back to Eversource, and all is good until the next time I download transactions from Pershing — they again morph into Evergy.

It would not be a problem, except for the fact 15 shares of Eversource still held in the account then identify as Evergy — resulting in erroneous holdings and account value.

There are eight securities accounts contained within this file. Two accounts hold Evergy, two accounts hold Eversource, and no account holds both. Only one of the accounts has the Eversource transactions that continue to change themselves to Evergy.

This has been going on for months. It is very annoying, and a waste of time and effort to correct the trasnsactions every time the account is reconciled.

Does anyone have an idea as to why this is happening, and any suggestions on how to fix it permanently?

Click INVESTING, Security List and click on whichever of those securities is currently showing.

Click EDIT to the right of the security and then UNcheck "Matched with online security".

THEN you should be able to successfully update the security to what it should be.
