Current Date Highlight Line Missing

In my Checking account register I noticed today that the "greenish" line that use to be drawn after the current date entries is missing. It shows in other registers but doesn't show anymore under only one of my checking accounts. The others still have it.

Other checking account looks like this.

The account has date in ascending order with older dates on top and future dates below and there is no filter turned on. I even reset to the default layout but the line never returned. It was there, but I modified some columns to remove the business, client and billable columns, and that seemed to be when the problem happened. So I brought all the columns back and reset to default but the separator line never returned.

UPDATE!!! I just toggled the date sorting back and forth and the line came back. Problem solved, but strange it had disappeared.

Just wondering … is your Checking account register properly sorted by Date and not filtered?
