Chase Credit Cards not showing in Quicken - though Chase website says Quicken is linked

Quicken Classic on Mac

Went through the process of adding the Chase account information ( Chase website popup ) but the process errored out with the error:

HTTP Status 400 – Bad Request

    I was able to workaround the issue by manually creating the Chase Credit Card account in Quicken via a .QFX download from the Chase website. Once added in Quicken, I modified the account settings to change the connection type to DIRECT CONNECT and went through the process again to verify Chase account successfully through the same web browser as before (safari).

    As new transactions posted to these credit cards, I verified the DIRECT CONNECT is working by seeing them post in Quicken.

    Just to clarify, are you getting the 400 error as soon as Quicken tries redirecting you to the Chase website to sign in? If so, here are a couple of troubleshooting steps we can try:

    • What web browser are you using for that process? Try switching to a different browser (for example, if you’re on Safari, try Chrome)
    • Turn off any pop-up blockers, ad blockers, or privacy extensions while you’re doing the linking — sometimes they interfere with the handshake between Quicken and Chase

    Let’s start with those and see whether the linking flow works better.
