Auto Fill

I am currently running Quicken Version 8.3.2 (Build 803.58902.100) on a Mac running macOS15.6.1. I would like to turn of the Category Auto Fill when downloading transactions. The Help menu instructs me to access the preferences menu through the Edit Menu. However there is no preferences option listed. I have followed all of the online instructions I have been able to find to solve this issue. But I have not been successful. One thread indicated that the MAC version of Quicken did not have a preferences option. Is that the case? And only the Widows version offered the option to turn off auto fill

    If you're looking at Help screens which reference a Preferences Menu, you are looking at Quicken for Windows Help.

    As Mac user please click Help / Quicken Help for additional help on Quicken functions and features.

    Quicken Mac preferences are called "Settings", which you can find on the "Quicken"menu.

    In Settings, click on the Connected Series tab, and uncheck the box for "Automatically improve the quality of downloaded payee names and categories".
