Quicken downloads for my credit card - pending transactions US Bank card

Hi group,

This just started to happen in the past two days: my Quicken is now including pending transactions into my US Bank Mastercard download, which is throwing off the totals. Pending transactions were never shown before until they cleared. The download also double-counted one particular transaction, which hasn't happened.

I'm running Quicken Classic Deluxe,  version R64.30, build 27.1.64.30.

Don't know why this is happening; is this a Quicken thing? a US Bank thing? I'm not getting any error messages.

Pending transactions have been around for some time. But the financial institutions may handle them slightly differently in their download data to Quicken where some are almost immediate when you invoke an update while others may take longer, the next day or not at all. It is possible that US Bank may have changed it on their end recently.

You can manage how you want them downloaded (or not) by going to Edit > Preferences > Pending Transactions and you will have various controls there.
