PAYROLL PLEASE!!!! Quicken Mac Business & Personal

I am a Quicken Mac user for more than 32 years and am BEGGING Quicken to please create a Payroll function!

I (and many of my accounting cohorts) are stuck with Quickbooks Enterprise desktop for Windows - and running it inside Parallels for the sole purpose of running payroll!

We do not use or care about ANY of the other functions we are forced to pay thousands a year for - inventory, customers or any of it! The ONLY reason we are needing it is the payroll function for employees, and direct deposit and to tabulate the payroll taxes - which we can't pay thru Quickbooks and are forced to pay the taxes outside that system anyway!

We would literally pay almost anything else for a Payroll module that could add to Quicken Classic Business - don't care what version! We will pay a LOT more - we are already paying thousands a year for Enterprise and loathe every problem it brings - primarily Windows 11 nonsense.

Like most accountants and lawyers, we and our clients DO NOT WANT QUICKBOOKS ONLINE. It is awful and not secure.

Please please create a payroll module for Quicken Mac.

Thank you!

Are there any Mac or Internet-browser based Payroll products available on the market now that you could use instead?

IMHO, there will be no way that Quicken, as a company, will ever be large enough to afford the expense of reinventing the Payroll wheel, whether on Mac or Windows, to make it worth their while.
You might be better off setting up with one of the large payroll processing companies and letting them do the work for you. They might even have a downloadable file, in a Quicken compatible format, to import the results into your Quicken data file.

Concurring with @UKR Since Q doesn't offer this in QWin, I'd find it highly unlikely that they'd offer it in QMac.

And with a company the size that I suspect you're talking about QB would actually be a better product for you than Q, which lacks proper and sufficient accounting controls for any but the self-employed.
