How to stop account windows from popping up?

Using Q Classic 8.3.2 on Mac M2 Mini running Sonoma 14.5

Often, not always, when I single-click on an account in the sidebar, a window of the account appears over the account as though I had double-clicked on it when I most definitely did not. Sometimes it happens when I press Command-N to make a new transaction. I'd like it to not happen. Is this a glitch or is there a setting I can disable to stop it?

    I can definitely see why you would be confused by this, as it is a strange issue to be occurring. I have a couple of follow-up questions for you if that is ok.

    • Where is your data file located?
    • Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party cloud services like iCloud, Dropbox, or OneDrive?
