I am getting Unable to add a new transaction to this register.

And further: A transaction can not be added because no eligible account is available. Make sure you have created at least one account, and that it is included in the account filter.

This is an investment account that I update manually. In the past I have just used the "New" icon at the bottom left of the window to add a transaction.

It seems to just be the accounts under Investing - Retirement. No problem adding transactions to credit card or bank accounts.

I'm up to date, have restarted Quicken, and running Mac Sequoia 15.6.1

Hope I'm in the correct place to ask a question - I'm not really familiar with the Quicken Help Community. Thanks!

    @lbutters Some questions/things to try…

    • Does Command-N work?
    • Does Transactions > New work?
    • Is the Transactions > New menu option grayed out? If so, check to make sure the foreground window is the main window showing the register (not a budget or report screen).
