    Hello @ibpositive2,

    Thank you for sharing your experience. I am happy to help.

    I reviewed your account internally, and it confirmed what you are describing: a CC-503 error with Target National Bank. Have you connected to this instance successfully in the past? How long has this issue been happening?

    Please check out this Support Article we have that covers this error. Apply the suggested steps and let us know how it goes!

    Thank you!

    My success with Target has been hit and miss. What's confusing is that I did an update and 2 pending charges downloaded to the account but 2 cleared charges didn't appear on the account so I did a reset of the account and Quicken shut down in the process with a problem. That was the start of the problem.

    Hello again, @ibpositive2,

    Thank you for following up with those additional details.

    Were you able to try the steps outlined in the support article linked above?

    If so, I have some follow-up questions for you based on your most recent details provided.

    • Where is your data file located?
    • Is your file synced or backed up by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, Carbonite, or iCloud?
    • Is this the first time Quicken has crashed, or does it continue happening if you repeat the steps of doing an account reset?
    • When Quicken crashed, did it produce a BugSplat report?

    Looking forward to your response.

    The file is on my computer.

    Is Target working for anyone?

    Hello again @ibpositive2,

    Thank you for following up.

    To answer your question, some people are having issues downloading transactions for Target Red Card and Target National Bank. It is a Known Issue; feel free to check that out. In those cases, the users do not receive any error message; their account balances do update, but no new transactions get downloaded.

    I think it sounds different than what you are describing. Can you answer the following questions to help determine the next best steps?

    • Is your data file synced or backed up by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, Carbonite, or iCloud?
    • Was this the first time Quicken had crashed, or does it continue happening if you repeat the steps of doing an account reset?
    • When Quicken crashed, did it produce a BugSplat report?

    Thanks again!

    I am now receiving 929 error message when trying to activate Tri City and Target. I've done the requested corrective action for 929 errors but still receiving the error message.

    Now receiving contact customer support, Can you help?

    I've got it working, but I had re-enabled it maybe 3-4 months ago. Now I know why I disabled it - every time OSU connects, you have to get the text code and type it in. Since I rarely use my Target card anymore, it's not worth the hassle for me to enter it every day (I run OSU daily). But I do recall I had issues setting it up last time (had to choose the correct FI).

    @ibpositive2,

    Thank you for providing that update.

    Please attempt to connect to those financial institutions again. If you receive the 929 again, please contact Quicken Support directly so they can help.

    @mjonis,

    I am glad you got it working.

    I can totally understand how inconvenient the multi-factor authentication prompt on every update can be. Those requests come directly from the financial institution. You can try disabling it from their website, although sometimes that is not an option.

    Hope this helps!
