Include downloaded statement payees in a report?

Hello community,

I searched but came up empty. Is there a way on the latest QMac to include downloaded statement payees (which are also Quicken Names prior to renaming) on a report for a particular payee or category?

We pay some contractors via payment services (e.g. Zelle, Venmo) and the details / reason for that payment is included as a comment that gets downloaded as the Statement Payee / Quicken Name.

It doesn't seem to be an option to include on the reports I've checked but maybe somebody knows a particular type of report which allows this field to be added? I've checked regular and business reports.

Thank you!

You can't include the Statement Payee in the reports.

But, would choosing to show that column) in the register (or account groupings such as All Transactions, then use live Searching to find the payee or category work? You can adjust the date filters as needed (or simply select the transactions), and then print the register as a report. Would that help?

Thanks John, I didn't realize that I could print a filtered view of the register as a report. That actually worked quite well to solve my immediate need. Thank you!

Glad it helped you out. Searching is a good way to find with quick answers. Also note that the total of the transactions (or of the selected transactions displays upper right-so you often don't even have to "print" (or view as PDF).

One drawback to be aware of (and it's a big one): if the search string is part of a split transx, then the total of the entire split is included in the total. For your purpose this might not be a huge deal, but something to be aware of.
