Reporting on paycheck deposited accounts

I want to create a report based on the Paycheck category but on the deposited account "Primary Account". Different trial and error ways, best I can do is just the gross salary and the Primary Account is where I want to do a report on. I tried categories where the account is selected, memo = Primary Account, etc.

Why can't you simply go to the Deposit account and produce a report filtered by your employer's name? And, if desired, a particular time period:?

That can easily be done using the Banking > Transactions report.

Odd that I was able to get the information this way vs. the other way around building it using other report! Thanks!

Also I did not see the split category the other way trying to create it. Oddly in here the split category shows and filtering only for the account and payee (called description in the column), it shows the category as "split" and as the net deposit. Strange how the other ways of doing it shows gross deposit.

I didn't originally see the right click path until I went to the menu bar and then "Reports → Banking - Transaction"
