I'm using the Mac version of Quicken not Windows, and getting the FDP-109 error with Paypal Credit (Synchrony).
I worked with a team at Quicken in the past to solve an issue that was refusing to download transactions, and they were very helpful. But then a couple months ago, things broke again. Trying to re-add the account is impossible.

Hello @mryan69,
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am unsure if your issue is the same as what the others are experiencing, as you are getting a different error than the rest, so I moved your post into a separate thread for now.
I reviewed your account internally and can confirm what you are describing, as I also see the FDP-109 on our end. This error usually occurs when your financial institution requires you to change your password. Some financial institutions require their users to change their passwords after a certain number of days or require a password change when suspicious activity is detected.
Please check out this Support Article and follow the steps therein.
Let me know how it goes!

Been awhile since I logged back in, so didn't see your response until now, @Quicken Alyssa.
When I sign directly into the PayPal site, I get no notification asking me to change my password. I'm able to use the PayPal website and PayPal App without issues.
But to try your suggestion, I went ahead and changed my password on PayPal just now.
When I reconfigured my normal PayPal account in Quicken with the new password, it linked just fine. When I tried to re-add my non-working Paypal Credit account in Quicken with the new password…same FDP-109.
So sadly, that error does not seem to reflect the issue.

Thank you for trying the suggested steps and following up with more information.
It sounds like you are experiencing the same issue as the other users in the original Windows thread, only in your case, on Mac, you are receiving the FDP-109.
Please go to Help>Report a problem>Send to Quicken, from within your software.
This will send over your log files. Let me know once you have done this, and I will add you to the existing ticket.
Thank you!
