Why did all of my paycheck deposits disappear out of my savings account?

I have researched my data file thoroughly. Analyzed all of the sort functions. My paychecks are gone! However, I did recently do a validate and a super validate on the file because it was very unstable. Could that have done some damage?

    Also, I opened a backup file to research something, then closed the backup, and reopened my current file. Would that have caused all of my paychecks to disappear??? I think if I rename a file, I can put a date range (I think), and that will decrease the size of the file. But I did not rename my current file, I just reopened it.

    Thank you for sharing a detailed account of your experience.

    It is hard for me to say what could have caused this issue, but I do have some things we can do to get things back in order.

    First, I would suggest restoring a backup from before this issue happened. Then I would like to know, where is your data file located? Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party services like OneDrive, Dropbox, or Carbonite?
