When I export a QXF file from Quicken Classic (windows) the file only includes the accounts with balances, no transaction details. How do I get the exported file to include transaction details?

This looks like a new bug in the QXF file import for Quicken Windows. I just tried it and got the same result, that any account that currently has a zero balance doesn't get any transactions.

The QXF export/import is a whole file export/import there isn't any options to change its behavior.

I reported this with Help → Report a problem. I suggest you do the same.

Mine is titled "The QXF import results in no transactions in zero balance accounts."

Thanks. I'm seeing it for account with balances. It's listing the accounts, and the balances correctly, but no transactions.

It seems to be worse than I thought. I'm looking at some of the accounts that do currently have a balance, and I see that they are missing transactions. My rough guess on the bug right now is that there is some kind of filtering going on in the export or the import based on something like year to date. This seems to only be for the non-investment accounts.

EDIT it isn't a filter by date. The only transactions in some of the accounts is the current balance. The others that have transactions are the result of transfers to/from investment accounts.
