Bank of America transactions not downloading

Is there any way to get a step by step chat with someone to get B of A back up and downloading transactions , I was doing it from B of A online now they stopped letting you do it that way, I tried from other post to set up but quicken cant find my checking acct. I was told to reauthorize thur quicken and the bank tried it 3 times and it says can't find account, deactivated and tried to set it up again wants me to reauthorize again, The account has 27000 transactions that were downloaded on to quicken over the last 20 yrs. how do I get help from Quicken, Thank you

    I wouldn't do "chat", I'd call. (In my opinion "chat" as a support channel isn't really suited for most support questions that can't be answered in one sentence.)

    Screen share and have the rep work you through the process.

    B of A has abandoned the Web Connect method in favor of Express Web Connect+, and I guess that's the problem you're facing.

    Let me try:

    Disconnect ALL B of A accounts from downloading, including any old accounts that might be hidden, Then on the General tab completely erase both the Financial institution and Account number fields.

    Star the Add Account process, specify B o A as the Financial institution, and input your login information.

    Quicken should find all accounts that use that login.

    Then you carefully LINK the account(s) at B of A to the correct Quicken Account(s).

    Tom , Thank you for the help, after trying your steps and not making current account being found by B o A , I called support. got a an animated helper after got sick of it not having any time to wait while i tried perform steps I insisted on a person in real, we did a screen share and they found error that was stopping it from letting Quicken from express connect +, we closed out that error and tried again and it connected and was able to match account to download transactions to, it took a while but we got the problem solved, Thanks anyways
