Reconcile works fine except it now treats cleared revenue as a minus value

Therefore instead of balancing to zero it doubles the value and wants to insert a correction to finish.
This happened starting in October this year. How can I fix this?

Statement Ending Balance is a user-entered amount, so my first thought is "user error."
Assuming that the "Cleared Balance" is something like a checking Account and there's $18,287.65, shouldn't the Statement Ending Balance also be positive?
