Reminders automatically appearing in register without category

I'm using Quicken Classic Deluxe for Windows. I am having the exact same issue (I think) as @Greg Brown.
Starting a few weeks ago, presumably after an update, my MANUAL BILL REMINDERS started automatically entering themselves into my registers, even though they are set not to. These transactions in the registers do not include the category they were set to in the reminder. In the register they have a blue pencil saying they were manually entered from a bill reminder. But they were not manually entered by anyone. When I actually manually enter a transaction from a bill reminder, it shows with a red pencil and says Uncleared until it's matched to a downloaded transaction. I believe if it is the day they are due, they are still showing in the Bill Reminder section as PAID, but I can enter them manually again properly and just delete the one that shouldn't have been there. If they are past due they are not even there in the Bill Reminder section for me to manually enter, and I just have to randomly search in the registers for them to fix the missing information and possible amount or date. These are not all related to any pending transaction downloaded through One-Step Update.
This shouldn't be a hard problem to recreate. Make some recurring bill reminders that are not linked to any online billers and not set to automatically enter into the register. See what happens the day on or after they are due. But this IS causing absolute havoc on my accounts and ability pay my bills properly. And this has been weeks now. It really should be a high priority to address.0 -
Thanks for posting that. I turned off all pending transactions in registers and it seems to help although I now don't have the pending transaction tab to review them. I have an appt. on 10th to discuss with support, hopefully they can determine what's going on. I have previously uploaded my logs, and when I reviewed them I could find where the transactions downloaded but NOT when they were added to the register. Not sure if they will show in any logs when they're added. But I agree that it is probably from an update.

@Greg Brown Did your discussion with them offer any ideas or solutions (other than possibly turning off the ability to see pending transactions)?

not yet, I told him all the information once again and they said they were going to escalate it.I spoke to them again yesterday to find out if there was any changes and I was told no but they’ll let me email when they have something.

I did tell them that it is a fairly recent occurrence and I believe it had to do with recent updates… I had no issues with this until recently.
