Security Not Showing Up Investment Holdings
I own VIIIX in an Fidelity retirement account. I've been using Quicken for many years, started Quicken Mac about 12 months ago. Everything was fine until about 6 months ago, when Quicken started duplicating security. For example, after updating, my Fidelity account would have 2 VIIIX named slightly differently. I merged those securities in Quicken (per post I found in this community). This worked for a time, then duplicate security showed up again. I merged them again. Then came the problem I'm dealing with now.
Instead of duplicating, VIIIX just disappeared from under the Fidelity account. However, when I go into Windows > Securities - I can see VIIIX as a currently held security. Any idea how I can have VIIIX show up in Fidelity account holding?
I have tried disconnect, then reconnect download the Fidelity account in Quicken.

Make a backup of your file. Then try searching the register for "placeholder". If you find any placeholder transactions for VIIIX, delete them. This may solve the problem.
