Quicken Classic for Mac connection issue with Fidelity

After returning from 6 weeks of travel, I find that my Quicken Classic for Mac can no longer connect to my Fidelity investment accounts: "It appears this account is at a bank that no longer supports downloading. You can resolve this by disconnecting to make this a manual account or set up the account at a new bank. (112)" and "The financial institution has chosen to no longer support online banking for Quicken for Mac."

Last connection was on 10/14/2025. I can't find any information indicating that Fidelity has dropped support for Quicken for Mac, so I assume that this is a glitch of some sort? Any suggestions for how I can get the connection back? Or has Fidelity made connecting impossible?

Fidelity no longer supports Direct Connect. If your Fidelity accounts are still set up for that, you'll have to switch them over to using Quicken Connect.

I haven't been having any problems connecting to Fidelity via Quicken Connect.

They also consolidated the Fidelity entries in the list of financial institutions, pretty much all Fidelity accounts now connect to "Fidelity Investments".

Fidelity no longer supports Direct Connect. They migrated from that to Quicken Connect. It looks like your travel started just before the hard cut-in of this migration occurred.

Back up your file. Then try disconnecting your Fidelity account(s) and then try reconnecting with "Fidelity Investments" which is now Quicken Connect.

Connections to Fidelity have been erratic since early August, with no fix in sight.
