Bank updates issues: Downloading older transactions from RBC using a OFX file (Q Win Canada)

I have auto update setup. I have not logged in for about 6 months. Auto update only downloads about the last 2 months of transactions so I have 4 months of missing transactions. This all worked fine for my TD credit card, it went back to my last update.

So I tried downloading the Quicken file from the bank for teh missing period. I can download teh file but it is in an OFX file format which is not accepted as an import format for Quicken.

How can I get my missing transactions imported into Quicken?

Forgot to mention that the issue is with my Royal bank chequing account.

Banks typically only download 2 - 3 months' worth of transactions when you download using One Step Update for the first time (ever or the first time in a long time).
To prevent download gaps in the future, I recommend downloading at least once a week

For you being a Quicken Canada user, please contact Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and request help, making sure to mention that you're a Canadian user.
As a Quicken US user I can't look up RBC's download profile and see if they still support QFX file downloads or if they recently dropped it. If they dropped it, you should get an error CC-885 or similar upon importing the QFX file.
