Confirming Balances - provide more info & offer an option to decide later [Edited]

On an account from Fidelity that was having interest credited to the account each time Quicken was asking me to confirm the amount of the account during confirmation of a new transaction from the One Step Update. It would do this without clearly indicating whether the amount was inclusive or exclusive of the interest credited. Quicken should either have an option of "I will determine the answer later" rather than being forced to make a decision then and there or clarify if the approved interest credited is included in the balance amount or not. Wrong answers create future difficulties.

Whereas I agree that the dialog should have more information on what is happening, if this happening to you every time you get interest created to the account, then there is a problem.

I have seen that problem sometimes when first setting up an account but Quicken should be getting the cash balance every time it downloads transactions and as such it shouldn't have to ask you every time.

EDIT: here is a thought. In the Account Details → Online Services tab, do you have the option selected to reconcile to the online balance? That feature has never worked right for investment accounts.
