How can I stop displaying last memo with payee in the register?

I want the Payee to continue to be renamed (which is working) but I don't want to see the memo from the last entry shown in the register (the underlined part after the '/'). Thanks for your help.

    Is it a Memorized transaction?

    @RalphC it is a memorized payee. It is not a memorized or reminder transaction.

    Edit the Walmart.com entry in the Memorized Payee List and blank out the Memo text stored there. Put a checkmark at "Lock this entry …" and save.
    This will change your Walmart entry into a "Model entry". Changes you make to a new transaction will not be saved in the MPL

    @UKR I'm seeing the memo from the last used transaction for ALL records in all my download registers. Is there a setting to turn this off globally (just showing the previous memo data)?

    Are you saying that you have created several Walmart register transactions with incorrect Memo text?
    You can change those by using Edit / Find/Replace and replacing the incorrect Memo with either a blank space or a period.

    No. This is only in the Downloaded Transactions Register - before the transactions have been edited or accepted into a register

    Stuff like that shouldn't be downloaded from the bank. There's something else going on here …

    I'd say it's time to contact Quicken Support on the phone during posted hours of operation and request help. Let them do a screen share session with you to review the situation on your computer, to determine the nature of the problem and to figure out how to fix it.
