Improvements to the UI for Reports - reduce scrolling & manual resizing [Edited]

  • Under Reports, Easy Answers should be listed at the top instead of needing to scroll down.
  • Under Reports, dropdown menus should have a wider space to grab and scroll.
  • Under Reports, my reports always open in a smaller screen where the Amount column is always hidden all the way to right and I have to widen the screen to see the numbers.

These may seem like minor changes, but they would definitely save me time. I do too much scrolling, including missing the scroll bar and window widening. I bet others are having the same issues, but they are too small to mention. It has taken me months, if not years to bring it up.

Are you using the built-in reports, or ones you have saved?

Most of the built-in reports do not remember any column width or size changes unless you save the modified report you have made, and I think they are sized to fit on the lowest screen resolution supported by Quicken (1024x768).

I just did a quick test with the Itemized Categories report and if you save the report it remembers the window size.
