Can you add more detail? I have tried everything that I know. No success.

    Thanks, Mark

Can you show exactly what you want to produce? Then someone can give you a detailed answer.

I'm guessing there that what you're wanting is a report that shows cash within all brokerage/retirement accounts?

I can't think of a way to generate a report with Cash in each investment account listed individually and totaled.

If you just want to see the cash total of multiple investment accounts, the can select the desired accounts* and the Portfolio will show a Cash line for the combined accounts.

You can select Brokerage, Retirement, or Investing to group those accounts together. If you want to manually select certain investment accounts, you can do that in an awkward user interface process:

    • Click on Investing in the left sidebar
    • Click on Portfolio
    • Set the first filter to "Portfolio Value" and the second filter to "By Security"
    • Pull down the third filter which says "All Investing Accounts" and select the first account you want in your combined Portfolio
    • Pull down the third filter again (which now shows the name of the account you just selected), and select the next account you want in your combined Portfolio
    • Again pull down the third filter (which now shows "2 accounts") and select a third account
    • Repeat for as many additional accounts as you want
    • At the bottom of the portfolio, under the individual securities, the Cash line will show the combined cash in the selected accounts

You can "drill down" to see the cash in specific accounts by setting the second filter to "By Account", and then clicking the ">" icon to the left of each account name to see the holdings in that account; Cash is always at the bottom.

But I don't know a way to get just the Cash lines from each account in a report or view by themselves.

Thanks so much and works the way I was hoping for. My best,
