Moving my data from old Quicken Deluxe Release R3 to new 2025 Quicken personal and business

Old Quicken version files to new Quicken, from machine using PC Windows 7 pro to PC Windows 11

Old Quicken version that I have been running forever and currently Quicken Deluxe Release R 3,

I have back up files .IDX .QDF .QEL .QPH created by Quicken backup function

Run on old Dell windows machine running Windows 7 Pro

I am looking to replace old Quicken with new 2025 Quicken Business & Personal

To be run on brand new Dell PC running on Windows 11

Question is, IF I get the new Quicken on the new Dell, will I be able to use my old Quicken backup files (.IDX .QDF .QEL .QPH) to import data to the newly installed Quicken 2025 program?

Hopefully this is concise enough information for question to answer?

Thanks John from Southern Calif.

Or you can stop converting when you get Quicken 2013 since you don’t use any online services or download transactions now. You can get 2013 Deluxe for free in that convert article.  Then it will run on newer versions of Windows.  Starting in 2014 they instituted an ID password to get into your own data. I’m staying on 2013.

And FYI - If your Quicken was before 2010 you should have several files making up the data.  The main data file ends in .QDF.  All Quicken versions prior to QW2010 store your data in a series of files all sharing the same filename but with different extensions like  - .QDF .IDX, .QEL, .QPH  and all 4 of those files were rolled into a single-file .QDF starting in 2010.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
