How stable is version R65.29

@BK and @TangledWeb - As mentioned earlier, this installation error issue is not unique to R65.29. I first observed it when I was testing the Beta version for R64.30. Then when I updated to R64.30 from the Beta I experienced it, again. I did not have this issue with R64.35, R65.15 nor R65.29 (I did not update to R65.17 since it didn't apply to me). However, there are numerous posts by people regarding their experiencing this issue with each of these versions.
And it should be noted that in most cases this installation error issue, if encountered, is easily resolved by simply uninstalling and reinstalling it.
I'm only mentioning this because in the R64.XX and R65.XX versions there are some important fixes for the Fidelity EWC+ issues.
And R65.29 includes the final 2025 tax code updates as well as some early 2026 tax code updates for Tax Planner.
So, if either one of these things is important to you, you might want to consider updating. But, of course, that is a personal decision matter.

Thanks @Boatnmaniac
Frankly I got over the installation issue and I just expect to see it in every release and fix it myself. I don't have Fidelity. But all the mess the last few releases caused to split transactions and reminders etc. as they continue to be problematic concern me. R65.29 messed up my splits, again (in my test setup).
I am pretty dialed in and solid with my older release and I'll think about the tax updates about mid year and hopefully by then there will be a better release. However to your valid points about tax updates, what I do in parallel is copy my main file onto the test VM (offline*) which has the latest release and compare the changes side-by-side. I always appreciate your positive spirit and expert suggestions - Thank you.
*offline: When I copy my main file to the test VM, I disable VM's network access. That allows me to open my main file side-by-side on both environments without causing any dataset/sync conflicts, and I can do all kinds of experiments.

Thanks for the helpful insights @Boatnmaniac!
Similar to @BK, version 62.16 is working well for me despite, as I mentioned, having to manually enter some Fidelity transactions manually at the end of each month.0 -
For me, the Fidelity issues resolutions were important and really nice to see but if I had to I could have begrudgingly put up with it for a while longer.
But the 2025 tax code updates that were done last week were critical for me because they helped me make a lot of important decisions before 12/31 regarding Roth IRA conversions, IRA distributions, charitable contributions and tax-impacting bill payments….whether to do them in 2025 or delay them until 2026. For me, it ended up saving me $thousands in what my 2025 taxes will end up looking like.

UPDATE: This issue still exists for me so yesterday I reported it to Quicken (via Help > Report a Problem).
Anyone who is experiencing issue with R65.29 that have not been able to be resolve with troubleshooting should do the same so they get it on the Quicken Dev Team's radar screen.

There is a new alert from Quicken today indicating there may be an issue with the Paycheck wizard in the current R65.29 release for Windows.
