Merrill Edge CC-800 It appears one or more account(s) at Merrill Lynch investments have been deleted

Roughly since the beginning of the year, I have gotten this error when trying to update my traditional IRA through Merrill. I have reset the account, deactivated/reactivated, updated third party authorization on the Merrill side - to no avail. The initial account addition fails, but every time I want to update transactions, I get CC-800 .

    Thank you for sharing your experience and reporting the issues you have been running into.

    In general, if you've deactivated or deleted an account and then restored a Quicken backup file, is when you will see a CC-800 error.

    Based on what you said, you have already completed the recommended steps to resolve this error, so you were on the right track there, though I am sorry to hear it didn't resolve this issue for you. I have some follow-up questions for you.

    • Are you using Quicken on more than one computer?
    • Where is your data file located?
      • You can see this by going to File. The first file listed at the bottom of the menu is the current file you are in, and the file pathway will be displayed. That's what we are looking for.
    • Is your file being synced/backed up by any third-party services like Carbonite, Dropbox, or OneDrive?

    This issue has been forwarded to the proper channels for investigation. However, we request that you please navigate to Help > Report a problem>Send to Quicken within your Quicken program and submit a problem report with log files and screenshots attached in order to contribute to the investigation.

    It would also aid the investigation to include a sanitized file when submitting the problem report. A sanitized file is a data file that removes personally identifiable information so you can comfortably share this file with the Quicken team.

    Please let us know once you have sent them over so we can get them added to the ticket. The more problem reports we receive, the better. I do see that some of you already sent them, and I have already added those.
