No Sound in Quicken register

I have Windows 11, a new computer. when I installed Quicken Deluxe on the new computer I have sound when I open Quicken but whenever I enter a transaction in the register and hit enter there is no sound. I made sure sounds were turned on in quicken.

Anyone have any suggestions.

    Here's where you need to go to manage specific sounds in Quicken:

    Control Panel > Sound > Sounds tab

    See if that's the problem.

    When you clicked on "Record" under the Quicken group of sounds what file was shown in the "Sounds" box? It should be "qrecord.WAV". Clicking on the down arrow in that box should present you with a long list of available sounds.
