How to setup download transactions for a E*Trade Savings account
I recently opened an E*Trade Savings account, I can access that account in my standard E*trade user portal. I have many other E*Trade brokerage accounts. Those accounts can be set up to download transactions to my Quicken for Windows Classic. However I am unable to "see" the saving account when I tried to Add new account with Quicken tools and my normal user ID.
Anyone has suggestions?

E*Trade has different Quicken financial institutions for different kinds of accounts. Following is what is shown in the FIDIR (Financial Institutions Directory) list which tells Quicken which financial institutions support Quicken, for which types of accounts and with which types of connection methods:
This one for investment accounts. Note that it says nothing about other types of accounts…just investment accounts.:
09999 09999 09999 ETRADE https://us.etrade.com/home 1-800-387-2331 https://us.etrade.com/etx/pxy/login ACTIVE INVESTMENT,ACCOUNTINFO&DIRECT INVESTMENT&WEB-CONNECT INVESTMENT&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
This one is for their credit card.:
60105 60105 60105 ETRADE Financial Credit Card https://us.etrade.com/home 1-866-503-2856 https://us.etrade.com/etx/pxy/login ACTIVE CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA
This one is for banking (checking, savings) and credit accounts.:
09899 09899 09899 ETrade Bank https://us.etrade.com/home 1-800-387-2331 https://us.etrade.com/etx/pxy/login ACTIVE BANKING,CREDIT&WEB-CONNECT BANKING,CREDIT,ACCOUNTINFO&EXP-WEB-CONNECT NOT_QBP NA.
I suggest you go to Tools > Add Account > type in ETrade Bank in the search field > follow the prompts using your current E*Trade online account login.
Does this allow you to add downloading your E*Trade savings account into Quicken?

I tried a couple of times the past few days and they did not work.
I tried it again to make sure I can report the exact errors, and it worked this time!
Thanks.
