Ledger Details - Sort
I am trying to figure out what data value Quicken Uses to Sort the Ledger Detail when the Sort Value is DATE beside the DATE Value itself. If I have, as an example 5 ledger records dated the SAME DATE. They are in a specific order in my ledger. If I change the date of the 3rd record to a different date and then change it back to the original date, the record goes back into the same 3rd place order as it originated, not being the last record of the 5 Date records.
The reason I am asking, sometimes in reconciling my ledger to my Bank Account, I need records of the same DATE to be in a specific order so that a specific records ends last to make my ledger Balance Match my Bank Statement Balance.
There definite is something else besides the Date fields that Quicken is using to organize ledger records? I want to control their order within my ledger, how do I do that?

If you click on the gear at the top right of the account, there is an option "Sorting options."
In addition to straight sorting on the individual columns, you can select By order entered or by Date/order entered. That may explain what you are seeing. If you select By date/order entered, it will display transactions that were entered on a particular date in the order they were entered.
