How to add new account to Quicken after bank is updated

When adding new account, system went to bank which confirmed account. However, account does not appear on Quicken account list. The procedure to add accounts seems to have changed and I need help in how to now add new account to Quicken as well. Thanks

    With what steps were you initially "adding new account"?

    Did you use TOOLS, Account Account (or, Tools, Account List, Add Account) before you tried to connect the account to Q?

    You need to 1st create the account in Q (via either of those methods) before you go to connect it.
