One Step Update after restoring recent backup
Windows 11 Home 25H2, Quicken R65.29. Have used quicken for many years.
I have had an intermittent problem that persists over windows versions and quicken releases.
I have quicken installed on a home computer and a travel laptop. Same windows version and releases. I do NOT have quicken cloud enabled on either device. When I restore a backup from one computer to the other (daily backup), it says "syncing quicken and quicken cloud". After this, SOMETIMES it will say that all of my accounts set for web connect are no longer active and I have to go through and re-connect them. (I.E., it doesn't happen every time. Once I went for months with no problem, now it's more consistent).
Question: why is it syncing with cloud if I don't have cloud enabled (no cloud account showing).
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling quicken on both computers. The problem is gradually getting worse.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

Is the error you are encountering a CC-800 error?
If so then you should read a post about this authored by a Quicken moderator:
I've asked for further explanation as moving a file back and forth between computers isn't an usual event for many Quicken users, but this problem might now make that impossible.

I have experienced the same issue sync'ing between my travel laptop from my desktop. All connections are lost and must the accounts must be re-added. It's not impossible but it is more tedious and user-unfriendly.
